Local officials representing the City of Siena were rather annoyed that Gran Turismo 5 features kart racing in the Piazza del Campo.

They were particularly miffed about the use of local flags normally used to promote the town's horse race (as seen in the Bond movie Quantum of Solace).

However GT5 creator Kazunori Yamauchi says the flags could be easily removed.

"We can remove them in an instant," Yamauchi Tweeted. "Erasing them is somewhat regrettable."
