The intriguing Ignition Games release El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan on April 28th. The game is coming to Europe and North America and the publisher says details of that release will be announced shortly.

El Shaddai is a very interesting game for a number of reasons - the setting is based on the Book of Enoch, part of the Dead Sea Scrolls. And this unusual setting for a game is married to some stunning and innovative art as you can see in the video below.

Ignition Entertainment has joined forces with Storm Lion to create a comic bases on the shooter Blacklight: Tango Down.
