Sega has announced Captain America: Super Soldier for a summer 2011 release on Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PlayStation 3.

"Videogame players the world over can now become Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Captain America," said Sega's Gary Knight. "Captain America: Super Soldier puts players in the boots of the ultimate Super Soldier, wielding Captain America’s legendary shield. Working closely with Marvel ensures we’re delivering the calibre of product that gamers and comic fans deserve and it’s a partnership we’re proud of here at SEGA."

The third person action adventure takes place during World War II.

This action-packed trailer not only reveals Tron Bonne as a playable character, but, more importantly, features Captain America kicking arse. It's certainly the most tantalising trailer we've seen come out of MvC3 so far, so be sure to check it out after the jump.

Capcom has released two new videos showing Dormammu and Viewtiful Joe getting their fight on in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds - although not against each other.

This is the first footage we've seen of the characters since their appearance in the game was announced earlier this week, and boy, can they hold their own. Both videos show spectacular fighting styles and insanely flamboyant combos, despite Joe's comparatively meagre stature, which looks to make settling on a favourite character come release day even harder than it already was. But what a journey it'll be.
