Robbie Bach, the retiring of Microsoft's President of Entertainment & Devices Division has implied that we won't see a replacement for Xbox 360 until 2014.

In an interview with Tech Flash Bach described the Project Natal motion control system as a "midlife kicker for the 360".

If Natal really does signal the mid-point of Xbox 360's lifespan that would mean that it wouldn't be replaced until 2014.

Of course we could be reading way too much into this, but that's videogames journalism for you.
