Coming off of Guild Wars 2?s recent Human Week, NCsoft and ArenaNet would like to announce the second instalment to their ongoing series dedicated to detailing the races featured in Guild Wars 2, Norn Week. From today the official ArenaNet Blog will treat players to an in-depth introduction to the shape shifting half-giants known as the Norn, and throughout the remainder of the week provide readers with additional insight from the developers on the lore, the newest art and a new video as well.

Atari and Cryptic Studios have announced Neverwinter, a Dungeons & Dragons based co-op RPG set for release in 2011.

"We're beyond thrilled to develop a brand new version of Neverwinter. It's been years since the original became a gaming icon and we're honored to work with such a great franchise," said Jack Emmert, COO of Cryptic Studios. "We've been working closely with Wizards of the Coast and R.A. Salvatore to create an authentic D&D adventure filled with compelling fiction and exciting gameplay."

Ubisoft has announced the return of the Might & Magic series in the form of Might & Magic Heroes VI. The game will be released on PC in 2011.

The publisher promises to retain all the features that fans love plus add some innovations.

Let's hope one of those innovations is no crippling DRM.

Electronic Arts has revealed that Dragon Age 2 will be released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 8th in the US and March 11th in the UK.

So we've quite a while to wait, but at least we have this tasty trailer to watch, after the jump:

At least, some PlayStation 3 news for today. EA has revealed that terrific action-RPG Mass Effect 2 will be released on PlayStation 3 in January.

Reality Pump has released the first trailer for its action RPG Two Worlds II. The first game was a bit of a mess, but one of those messes that showed lots of promise, so this sequel is highly anticipated by some. If it sorts out the problems of the first game it's going to be pretty good.

Two Worlds II is set for release on September 14th on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
