Now that I've given you all a taster of what I've been up to, I can now begin blogging again and really this is the best and only place for this item.
It seems that a bunch of Travellers, or for you Viz readers out there TGBs, have decided that what they are lacking is a degree from one of the North's finest institutions. Infact according to the article on the BBC website it seems that they have also solved any accommodation problems by providing their own mobile houses.
Yes it seems if you are currently a rugby player at Lancaster University, your set of six might be thwarted by a piebald horse and a couple of chickens, or your 40/20 kick might end up in a burning brazier.
Actually with there being no photographic evidence of what has taken place I cannot be sure if they haven?t actually camped on the hallowed ground that hosted the infamous Holker v Haverthwaite Block Cup.
Here?s hoping they haven?t started eating the ducks, Gilesey used to say that the Uni ducks had a special poison in them so that if you ate them the hospital could inform the police who could in turn charge you with stealing University property ? if you believe that, you?d have believed that the police were bothered about fingerprinting farmer?s gates!!

Quite astonishing land grab by the TGBs there.
Though from my memories of the Ladies rugby team while at Lancaster I might suggest that the rugby pitches now host a more attractive view.

Hardly Daily Mail- what do pikeys contribute other than death and destruction? They also mistreat animals (especially dogs) terribly.

It is hilarious - they are camped at the bottom of the drive and we've been told "not to approach them". We all want them to stay as long as possible, because every day they stay is a day longer the prissy VC's blood pressure goes through the roof! I happen to be on Senate and we have a meeting next week and it is going to be SO much fun!
Interestingly, all the caravans and minibuses have UK licence plate but the cars have E. European ones. But if I was Romany and lived in E. Europe I'd head for, er, anywhere else too.
