Square Enix has finally officially announced the game everyone has known about for months - Tomb Raider - a reboot of Lara Croft's adventures taking the story back to the beginning (again).

The new game sees Lara set out on her first adventure - quite by accident.

Crystal Dynamics is one again handling the development. No formats were announced but we'd eat our hat if the game wasn't coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Square Enix has announced the pre-order bonuses for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Gamers who pre-order the regular version of the game will receive the Explosive Mission Pack, or alternatively they can order the limited-number Augmented Edition.

"The Explosive Mission Pack features an entirely new mission with a special cameo appearance from one of the original DEUS EX characters, plus the Automatic Unlocking Device, the M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device (UR-DED) and the Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher.

"The Augmented Edition boasts features the same exclusive mission as the Explosive Mission Pack, 10,000 extra credits to buy or upgrade weapons, plus a Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, the SERSR Longsword Whisperhead silenced sniper rifle, the Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher, an Automatic Unlocking Device and the M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device (UR-DED). If that?s not enough, the Augmented Edition also contains an exclusive bonus DVD featuring a 44 minute making of special, game soundtrack, motion-comic (adapted from DC?s official series) plus the E3 trailer and animated storyboard plus the edition will also contain a 40 page art book."

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming to PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in 2011.

Square Enix has released another trailer for its upcoming stealth/FPS/RPG/Kitchen Sink game, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and it's dealing in shades of bad-assery we weren't even aware existed.

The trailer demonstrates some of the weapons and abilities available to the player, including invisibility, explosive bullets and a superb looking rifle that can see and shoot through solid objects. It's truly unmissable.

Expect the game early next year for PC, PS3 and 360, but expect the video after the break.

Square Enix has just released a beautiful trailer for Final Fantasy XIV to coincide with the Tokyo Game Show.

Square Enix has sent word that the investigation into bugs that slightly delayed the launch of the Final Fantasy XIV Beta has solved the problems.

So the beta will begin tomorrow - 2nd September.

Square Enix has just announced that the third-person shooter Gun Loco will be released for Xbox 360 in 2011.

The game is described as "sprint action third-person shooter" which means I'm getting old as I have no idea what that means. But then I've given up trying to work out what all the different forms of heavy metal are and I just listen to Iron Maiden instead.

Square Enix has sent word that the original PlayStation Front Mission 3 game will be re-released on PSN for PlayStation 3 and PSP.

Square Enix has released a new movie from Kane & Lynch 2 highlight the multiplayer mode Cops & Robbers. Looks pretty neat.

Square Enix sends word this morning that the Boom Pack DLC has been released for the wonderful Just Cause 2 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

As the name implies the Boom Pack features some awesome new weaponry, here's a rundown:

• Quad Rocket Launcher: half shotgun, half rocket launcher, all carnage
• Cluster Bomb Launcher: the natural successor to the grenade launcher
• Air Propulsion Gun: a highly experimental jet-powered blast weapon, powerful enough to send vehicles and soldiers skyward

The Boom Pack costs €1.99/£1.60/$1.99/160 Microsoft Points.
