Star Trek: Infinite Space Gets Cinematic

Star Trek: Infinite Space, the free-to-play browser game in development at Keen Games, has been given the trailer treatment - and it's looking hot.
The game is set during the Deep Space Nine time-line and, according to the official site, allows players to side with either the Federation or the Klingon Empire, battling it out through missions designed by none other than Lee Sheldon of The Next Generation fame.
The brains behind The Star Trek Encyclopedia, Mike and Denise Okuda, are also on board to ensure it's strictly in line with the universe.
Star Trek: Infinite is due for release in Summer 2011, with Alpha testing scheduled for "late 2010".

Browser game? It's never going to look that good in game then. And as a massive trekkie the alliances posed in the trailer don'r look feasible in the DS9 timeline.

It can look very good - some of the new plugins deliver high quality graphics. Just look at Quake 3 Arena for example.
