Today sees the last big weekend of the pre-Christmas videogames rush, though most of the best games have been released already.
Perhaps this week's best released in Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare. The disk version comes with all the multiplayer premium DLC released for the game and you don't need the original to play it. You can read our review here.

Today's UK Retail Videogames Releases
Nov 12th

There are slim pickings to be had in your local videogame emporium today. That's thanks to the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Kinect earlier in the week. Obviously no publisher wants to put up a AAA release against those titles.
So what do we have in store today?

If reintroducing WiiWare demos wasn't enough, Nintendo has now released a Sonic Colours demo for DS. What a fun-filled week!
To access the taster you must use the DS Download service on the Wii's Nintendo channel, transferring it your handheld with DS Download Play.
As with DS Sonic games before it, Sonic Colours is to remain strictly 2D, presumably to appease fans of the originals.
Personally, I don't care what anyone says: I loved Sonic Adventure 2.
WiiWare Demos To Return
Nov 2nd

Nintendo has announced that, as of Friday, demos of WiiWare titles will once again be available for download.
The service makes a comeback with tasters of Furry Legends, Jett Rocket, ThruSpace and Zombie: Panic In Wonderland, and will update and refresh on a regular basis.
Unlike the WiiWare demo trial period Nintendo set up last year to boost sales, which ended in January, the new service should be sticking around.
MJ: The Experience Wii Comes With A Glove
Nov 2nd

Well, actually it's only the first shipment, but those lucky enough to get a copy on the 26th of this month will become the proud owners of:
"AN EXCLUSIVE WHITE SPARKLY GLOVE CREATED ESPECIALLY FOR MJTE PLAYERS SO THEY WILL LOOK AND FEEL JUST LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON WHEN HE PERFORMED BILLIE JEAN!"
I thought I better give those caps some space. Now be sure you don't fall over on your way out of the store and catch your hair on fire.

Yes it's another of the big pre-Christmas release weeks with many of today's releases no doubt being wrapped as gifts.
THQ and Sony were kind enough to send over WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 and The Move: Shoot respectively, alas neither arrived in time to make for reviews today - but look out for those early next week.
Anyhoo, here's today's big list of releases:

Did you miss us? What do you mean you didn't know we'd gone anywhere? Well I'm back from a few days with the family in North Devon and it's time to bring you the list of stuff now available in your local store from today.
Obviously the most high profile release is Medal of Honor - check out our single-player review here - meanwhile there's plenty of other stuff hitting stores today.
All of these pale into insignificance though next to the mighty gameplay behemoth that is Angry Bids - which is now available on Android. So, there goes the last reason to own an iPhone/iPod Touch.
